El mundo de la niñez puede ser inmensamente grande, tienen sus propios universos. Crean sus propias películas, escenas, personajes y hasta su propio lenguaje. Son seres de continua creatividad, imaginativos, donde pueden viajar a lugares nunca visitados por el adulto. Los niños(as) son deseosos de explorar, de descubrir, probarlo todo, experimentar, tocar y mirar su alrededor.
The world of childhood can be immensely vast; children have their own universes. They create their own films, scenes, characters, and even their own language. They are beings of constant creativity and imagination, capable of traveling to places never visited by adults. Children are eager to explore, to discover, to try everything, to experiment, to touch, and to observe their surroundings.
En este proyecto, los niños pudieron expresar y experimentar su propio lenguaje visual a través de cámaras digitales. No es que las fotografías que hicieron signifiquen algo en específico, sino que lograron expresarse y, a la vez, explorar el uso de la cámara como herramienta.
In this project, the children were able to express and explore their own visual language through digital cameras. It’s not about assigning specific meanings to their photographs, but rather about allowing them to express themselves while exploring how to use the camera as a tool.
El proyecto fue importante porque ofreció una nueva alternativa o método de comunicación. Fue una herramienta útil tanto para los padres como para los maestros, ya que les permitió conocer otras formas en que los niños pueden expresar sus emociones y deseos. Además, amplió las posibilidades del proceso educativo.
The project was meaningful because it offered a new alternative or method of communication. It became a useful tool for both parents and teachers, as it provided insight into different ways children can express their emotions and desires. It also helped expand the educational process.
Estoy muy agradecida de que el Centro Margarita y el Pre-escolar Girasol me hayan abierto sus puertas para poder realizar este proyecto. Para mí es muy importante que los niños tengan acceso a la mejor educación posible, especialmente aquellos que requieren una atención más personalizada.
I am deeply grateful to Centro Margarita and the Girasol Preschool for opening their doors and allowing this project to happen. It is very important to me that children have access to the best possible education — especially those who require more personalized attention.
